The Girls' room.

Last weekend we, meaning Mom and I, worked on and finished the girls' room. I think it turned out great. . .Now both Ian and Maren have new rooms and new beds. Maren is doing well with the transition to the big girl bed. Ian is not doing so hot with the new room. . .we are hoping this little regression is short lived and we can go on with our fairly simple bedtime routine. . .We have been frequently asking Maren if she likes her new room. . . she says it's very pretty. Eric will ask her where her bed is and if she likes it. She is taking ownership if the big girl bed and will tell you that the crib is for the baby. . . MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!!
We got a poster for Ian's room. . . a Transformer one. . .I think it still needs something. Maybe it is the big empty shelf that you see as soon as you walk in the room. . .I'll work on it :) We got the train that Eric made in high school, successfully transferred from Ian's old room to his new one. . .looks like with just one boy in the family, it will be easy to decide who gets that down the road.
As for baby #3. We are still working on names. . .we can't seem to meet eye to eye on this one. It could be a long journey to the end of the naming game. I have felt a lot more movement this week, which is reassuring to me. I have been feeling her move for about 3 weeks now, but it is definitely more consistant. . . it's awesome. :)

Baby Girl #2

After our ultrasound on Jan 28th, the verdict is. . . . GIRL! I was very surprised! I was 100% sure that I was going to have a boy. Eric has now decided to start betting against me, because he has better odds than just gambling alone. . .the ultrasound on top is a profile picture. The one to the right is one of the 3-D with a view from the top of the baby. you can see the soft spot, forehead nose and mouth. She had her hand either in front of her face or above her head the whole time we were in there.
